Winter Quarter Begins - 1/7/08A fair amount of progress was made over winter break. The upper chassis and nose cone tooling were made successfully, with the first nose cone attempt failing. They turned out to be the some of the, if not the best molds the VRI and the FSAE team has ever produced. Once the lower half is successfully produced all three tools will be taken to Fiberworks to be fully post cured to above 350°F. Thanks to Charles Coffey for his advice and help with the tools and post curing as well as a big thanks to Janicki for all of their help and support! Check out the V43 Progress page for more detailed info! |
